The temperatures are spring-like, but the Christmas lights are out

Over the weekend I was coming home to Topeka from Tulsa, Okla.

There were a few spots I ran into, where I could only pick up one radio station. The skies were sunny, the temperatures were in the middle to upper 70s and the one radio station I found was playing Christmas music. I went to college in Florida, so I am used to the idea of warm temperatures, palm trees and Christmas lights, but in Kansas, we actually have a winter, so this felt very out of place.

Temperatures this past weekend were above average for this time of year, however it feels like the holiday decorations are out even sooner this year!

When do you start decorating for the holidays and do you go all out like the Griswolds from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation?
