How did you spend your extra hour?

Weather Watch ...from the A.M.

There have been several occasions I would love to add more hours to the day. Sometimes there’s just not enough time in the day to get everything done. This weekend we got that extra time thanks to the end of daylight-saving time. I’ve heard some complaints from people that the time change throws off their normal routine. Other people enjoy the extra hour and take advantage of it. Overall, I prefer the earlier sunset. It actually gets dark outside when I need to go to bed to wake up for my morning shift!

What do you think about daylight-saving time and what did you do with your extra hour this weekend? Did you spend the extra hour outside enjoying Sunday’s beautiful weather? I woke up one hour “early” and caught up on some household chores.

Here is what a few people from KTKA and LJWorld.com did with their extra hour.

Denise Eck (KTKA News Director) went to the gym.

Tom Erskine (KTKA News Operations Manager) spent the extra hour relaxing in Glenwood Springs, Colo. before returning home from his vacation.

Matt Miller (KTKA Chief Meteorologist) spent some time catching up on past episodes of ABC’s FlashForward.

Fally Ruzik (KTKA Producer & Web Editor) caught up grocery shopping and visited a friend.

Daniel Winn (KTKA Local Government Reporter) took his golden retriever, Henry, for a walk in the park.

Jonathan Kealing (LJWorld.com Online Editor) caught up on sleep he missed out on during the week.

Matt Lucht (KTKA Chief Photographer) made biscuits and gravy for his in-laws.

Lindsey Elliott (KTKA Manhattan Bureau Reporter) caught up on sleep.

Tim Claiborne (KTKA Morning Director) enjoyed extra sleep and spent time “raking” leaves with his leaf blower.
