While snow brings hazardous driving conditions and can be an inconvenience, it can also be fun! After a long morning on-air covering the snow, Ed and I were ready to have some fun of our own, although we didn’t wait until the morning show was completely over to begin playing in the snow.

To show the snow off on-air, we first built a mini snowman to set on our weather desk.

Once the show was over, we ventured outside and built a life-sized snowman. We had to get a little creative with the face; luckily I had some candy to help give him eyes and a mouth.

As you can probably tell from the pictures of us posing with our snowman, we were pretty happy with the final project; then came the viewer submitted weather photographs that showed us just how pathetic our snowman was!
