We finally had our first day in the 90s for the year. We hit 93 degrees for a high temperature today. Previous to today the highest temperature for the year had been 89 degrees. Before today the most recent 90 degree day was late last summer, on Sept. 21st (279 days ago). But now that we’ve broken into the 90s they will stick around for a few days. We should hit 93 on Thursday and then 92 on Friday. The next weather-maker is a cold front on Friday evening. It will bring in some storms for late Friday and then less oppressive conditions for the weekend.
