So, I’ve gone back through the calendar and counted the Thursdays with rainfall. Remember when high school and college baseball teams were trying to play games in April? We were 4 for 4 in April. We had rainfall on every Thursday that month. Then in May, things settled down. Lawrence had two Thursdays with rainfall.But things really fired back up for June. So far we are 3 for 3. Every Thursday in June so far has involved severe storm warnings for Douglas County.
