Hurricane Gustav takes aim at Caribbean; U.S. next?

The latest hurricane is making its way through the Caribbean waters and is taking aim at the south coast of Haiti. Gustav has intensified quickly and is now a full-fledged category one hurricane. The latest observations on Gustav put the placement 75 miles southeast of Port Au Prince, Haiti, and about 265 miles southeast of Guantanamo, Cuba, with maximum winds around 90 mph. !The current track of Gustav is still uncertain, but the latest model information as of 7 a.m. Wednesday has the system strengthening to a category two hurricane by the time it hits the southeastern coast of Cuba by 7 p.m. Wednesday.
