Lawrence man objects to Carfax settlement

¢ A Lawrence man is among the Carfax customers not pleased with a settlement on a class-action lawsuit against the company, according to a story in Sunday's [New York Times][1].One of the consumers objecting to the settlement is David P. Wolfe of Lawrence, Kan. "It is like giving me nothing."__Mr. Wolfe said he bought a Honda Civic in Texas relying on a Carfax report. A Honda dealer told him later that the car had been so badly damaged in a crash it was not safe to drive. Mr. Wolfe said he did not want the coupon. David, like get out of the class action suit and try and find a lawyer who will take on contingency, or even try and sue in small claims court. They are giving you absolutely nothing of value in this settlement.

$20 coupons? This guy needs to sue for Carfax to buy back his car from him.
