criminally damaged a '70s nova? is that still a crime? ¢ A 21-year-old Lawrence man reported a 1973 blue Chevrolet Nova was criminally damaged and two Rockford Fosgate Punch 150s amplifiers and four speakerswere stolen between Monday and Tuesday in the 2401 block of West 25th Street. Estimated loss is $2,500.and, maybe it wasn't a crime, but vigilantism: this guy and other, now the neighbors can sleep better without the thuggy-thuggy-bump-bump!liberation! if the police won't enforce the noise ordinance on cars, direct action is necessary!

OK, so what's with all fancy car stereo thefts lately? Also, a burglary in the 1300 block of West 24th Street? Looks like a case of "lipstick on a pig." I will go all in and bet that is the former Felony Hoods they are describing. Ah, repainting it and a fancy new clubhouse doesn't change what it is.I for one, am going to be browsing craiglist looking for a laugh.
