Musical equipment stolen
Law enforcement report¢ A 20-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft of several items to Lawrence Police on Tuesday. Items reported stolen include five hand-held microphones, a RapcoHorizon cord with 16 inputs and four outputs and speaker cables. The total estimated loss is $1,760. The crime occurred between 6:15 and 6:45 p.m. Tuesday from the 1000 block of Tennessee Street.¢ A 37-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft of several items including amplifiers, speakers and a CD player. The crime occurred between 10 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday on the 1900 block of W. 31st Street. The total estimated loss is $1,100.

My son chased away two guys trying to steal our halloween blow ups last night. He said they appeared to be KU students.
