Wedding band stolen at motel

Burglaries and thefts reported A gold wedding band, valued at $4,000 was reported stolen by a guest at EconoLodge, 2222 W. Sixth St. on Saturday. The theft occurred between 7 and 11 a.m. Saturday. About $1,700 in loss was reported by a 22-year-old Lawrence man in the 400 block of John Doy Court Sunday. The incident occurred between 10 and 11 a.m. Sunday. A window screen and miscellaneous items were stolen or damaged. Some $1,100 in property was stolen from a 27-year-old male in the 2000 block of West Sixth Avenue between 9 p.m. June 17 and 12:05 a.m. Saturday.
