Another bicyclist in accident with car

Injury accidents¢ A car collided with a bicyclist, 11:30 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Clinton Parkway and Hartford Avenue. Daniel Moore, a 21-year-old Lawrence man, said he was riding eastbound in a line of three bicyclists on the bike path north of Clinton Parkway. The group was approaching Hartford Avenue when Moore was struck by a 2003 Honda Accord, driven by Jason Coe of Lawrence. Moore suffered cuts to his left leg, but refused medical treatment.A Lawrence Police Officer did not issue a citation. This is one of three bicycle/vehicle accidents to occur in or around Lawrence this week.Law enforcement report¢ Security Mortgage, 2311 Wakarusa, reported at least $500 in graffiti damage to the side of its building. The offense took place between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Monday.
