Eight vehicles damaged on Edgehill Road

Law enforcement report¢ The owners of eight vehicles parked in the 1600 block of Edgehill Road reported criminal damage that occurred between 9 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. The cars' driver's side mirrors were broken out, causing an estimated $300 in damage to each vehicle.Emergency callsLawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical reported the following responses:¢ Minor home fire, 10:25 a.m. Wednesday, 929 W. 28th Terrace.¢ Passenger vehicle fire, 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, 1520 Naismith Drive.¢ Smoke scare, odor of smoke, 5:13 p.m. Wednesday, 1301 Jayhawk Boulevard.¢ Passenger vehicle fire, 6:47 p.m. Wednesday, Tall Grass Drive and Trail Road.¢ Motor vehicle accident, 9:21 p.m. Wednesday, Massachusetts and West 23rd streets.¢ Arcing, shorted electrical wiring, 10:36 p.m. Wednesday, 800 Locust St.¢ Arcing, shorted electrical wiring, 10:57 p.m. Wednesday, 600 R.I.
