Law enforcement report¢ Lawrence police arrested three men around 11:28 p.m. Saturday in the 700 block of New Hampshire after discovering several illegal substances in their possession.An officer on patrol in the area saw a plastic bag containing green vegetation inside a vehicle parked in a city lot. Officers made contact with one of the subjects and he accompanied officers to the vehicle where police recovered a Glock 27 .40-caliber handgun, numerous small plastic bags containing off-white rock-like substances, a plastic bag containing green pills and a plastic bag containing green vegetation.A 26-year-old Atchison man was arrested on three out-of-county warrants. A 31-year-old Atchison man was arrested on charges of possession with intent to sell narcotics, no drug tax stamp, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a firearm. A 26-year-old Chicago man was arrested for possession of marijuana.
