Police catch bowling-alley theft in progress

Police arrested three people early this morning for trying to steal a kids’ bowling ramp from Royal Crest Lanes, 933 Iowa. An officer was on routine patrol shortly after midnight when he saw three people carrying the kids’ bowling ramp out the west door of the bowling alley, according to a report. The officer reported seeing two people load the ramp into the trunk of a vehicle while the third got in the drivers’ seat.
