I have all the respect in the world for good "tags", but this is kiddy crap.
There is a place for tagging / street art, but AC units?!?
If you want to see nice tags, drive east on 39th from KU Med, then cruise over on broadway and stroll through Westport, most of that stuff is very interesting and artisitc.

Gang members from Topeka / KC? These are children, that do this stuff. Gang's are out "homies", they went out in the 90's. It is no longer considered "cool" to be in a gang.
If there are any officers reading this:
I'm all for profiling, profiling is a great thing! Check the plates for out of town cars that have tint or 20" rims, pull em over. Send 'em packing, or lack thereof.
Only people that have something to be afraid of are opposed to profilling.

OhShakedown: you are right! That was some good graffiti. I liked the one where she was "sweeping it under the rug". Some of the best art I have ever seen was graffiti on the bridges, sides of buildings, and rail cars of NYC. It's amazing what some people can do with a couple cans of spray paint.

I wish someone would graffiti some of the so called 'art' downtown that the city spent thousands and thousands of dollars on.

not to be picky, but there's good art w/phalluses or phallic imagery, as the Greek statues, and many fertility symbols in many cultures. and, "curse words," some condemned steinbeck or even portions of the Bible for such.
just seems somebody still has to clean up this here stuff in Larrytown.

Why is this article so uninformative?
Why are there no pictures?
catwoman: What bad art are you talking about? Cause I for one hate the mural on the side of the Arts Center with a pasion.

Try this for a website. http://www.guerillaone.com/full.html
These folks have international competitions. The best I ever say was a mile long wall (or so it seemed) near an industrial site in St. Louis. Great stuff.
