With just a day left before the season opener against Northern Colorado, Kansas senior forward Jamari Traylor says KU has a lot of experienced players on its roster, which makes preparation headed into the season easier to handle.

But KU’s freshmen also have impressed Traylor, who said Carlton Bragg and Lagerald Vick are like sponges and Cheick Diallo always plays hard.

Even though Diallo didn’t play in the Jayhawks’ exhibitions, Traylor says the freshman big man changes practices with his efforts.
