Did you freeze your tushie off this weekend? I sure did.

It’s a little hard to drag yourself out of a warm, comfy bed when it gets as cold as it did this weekend. But a local music extravaganza for $3 can’t be missed.

The Show is the Rainbow was supposed to open up. It’s not really a band so much as a nutcase with a laptop. Unfortunately, word of mouth informed me that his laptop crashed and the guy didn’t back up any of his music. Hmph! Well, if Humpty Dumpty ever gets anything put back together again, you should definitely check him out. He is out of his darn mind. If nothing else, go for the sheer insanity.

With the nutcase of the lineup out of the way, it left room for a fairly mellow show. The few of us who did brave the 30-degree temperatures bundled up, cooked ourselves under the heat lamps at the Replay and waited for the show to start. And forgive me for sounding a bit sentimental, but I don’t believe there could’ve been a better band to listen to on a cold, dead night.
