This weekend we headed out to celebrate my last baby-free birthday with a good old fashioned Replay show. Outside you had the usual DJ and dancers, and inside you had veterans Arthur Dodge and the Horsefeathers. The crowds inside and outside were like night and day.

It was nice to see Arthur Dodge play with the whole band. They’re pretty popular (even though SOMEONE in the band was wearing a K-State hat in a LAWRENCE bar after KU LOST TO K-STATE). I did not see one unhappy face in the crowd. Everyone was in a good mood, and cheered after pretty much every song.

They pulled out some new stuff for the show. For playing what some might call a lot of “sad bastard” music, it sure was nice to see everyone in such a good mood. Enjoy:
