If Jon Stewart wants a guest on the Daily Show, nine times out of 10 (or maybe 99 times out of 100) he gets him.On Thursday, he gets a KU journalism professor. David Perlmutter, associate dean of journalism, will appear on the show to promote his relatively new book and discuss the political blogosphere.Perlmutter came to KU in fall 2006 and has been featured in a number of different media since then. He was interviewed by the Washington Post recently and blogs on his own as well.The Daily Show airs at 10 p.m. in Lawrence on Sunflower Broadband Channel 58.
