According to a press release from Benedictine College, Joseph F. Wurtz was recently hired as the school’s dean of students.Benedictine College is a small private Catholic school in Atchison, about 53 miles north of Lawrence. According to the school’s Web site, it has about 1,855 enrolled students.Wurtz received his master of science in higher education administration from the Kansas University in May 2004. He completed his undergraduate work at Benedictine.
