Kansas University will be celebrating its 141st birthday Wednesday, and the Student Alumni Association will be helping celebrate.Those who find their way to Wescoe Beach between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday will be treated to free birthday cake.The “Celebrate KU” event is timed to coincide with the anniversary of the first day of classes ever held at KU, Sept. 12, 1866.
