Former KU student found dead in Army barracks
William J. Willis, a former Kansas University student, [was found dead Wednesday in his Army barracks at Fort Wainwright, Alaska][1], the Army announced Thursday.The 23-year-old [Kansas City, Kan., man][2] was found by another soldier Wednesday afternoon. Willis was a student at KU in the fall of 2003 and lived in [McCollum Hall][3], but left the university after the spring of 2004. He enlisted in the army in October of that year.An autopsy is being conducted, but no cause of death has been determined. No other details were available.
