The KU Public Safety Office is asking for help in locating a man accused of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child on Sept. 19.According to a crime alert(PDF), the suspect is described as an Asian male, who was wearing a blue shirt with blue or gray pants at the time he approached the child.KU Public Safety Office said a child was playing outside of home in the Stouffer Place Apartment Complex between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The man, according to KU, approached the child, asked his name and when the child did not respond the man asked the child if he would come to his car and play with him.The child ran away and the suspect left the area in a car. There was no description of the vehicle available.Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to call the Public Safety Office at 864-5900 or KU Crime Stoppers at 864-8888.
