KU students try to win Chipotle ad contest

A group of Kansas University students is among 12 finalists for the second-annual Chipotle 30 seconds of fame competition.The students created an ad, viewable below courtesy of YouTube, as part of their campaigns course in the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Campaigns is the capstone course for students majoring in strategic communication.As of right now, KU’s entry has the second most views, trailing only the entry from the University of Texas. The winning team, which will be based in part on YouTube views, receives a $30,000 prize. In order to promote their creation, the KU students behind the project also created a Facebook group and a MySpace page.
