Drop us an e-mail at jkealingat]ljworld[dot]com and let us know how you’re preparing for the game._We just got off the phone with the [KCMO police officer in charge of policing Arrowhead Stadium, including for Saturday’s KU-MU game.Sgt. Rick Sticken said that the NFL was concerned about college fans thinking the goalposts might be fair game after a win sending either KU or MU to a Big 12 Conference Championship game. Though it may be tolerable on college campuses, Sticken said KCMO police were prepared to protect the field and goalposts.”There’s a lot of money in those,” he said. “And with a Chiefs game the next morning, they have to stay up.”Sticken said there would be KCMO police, Jackson County sheriff’s deputies and Missouri Highway Patrol troopers on hand to keep order.”We want everyone to have a good time,” he said, “but we’re prepared for anything that may happen.”Sticken said police were prepared in case they needed to transport an extraordinary number of arrestees to jail.
