More than a thousand wait for KU-MU tickets


For once, the line for basketball tickets was just a fraction of that for football.About two dozen people were in line for [basketball tickets][1] at 10 a.m. Monday, but more than 750 were waiting to pick up their tickets for [the KU-MU football game][2].By 10 a.m., 17 groups had been processed through the ticket office. More than 100 groups had registered by midnight. Some of the groups were picking up as many as 80 tickets.KU Associate Athletic Director [Jim Marchiony][3] said there were enough tickets for every student who had purchased a student ticket package.
