An end to an era at GSP?

In addition to being Kansas University’s two oldest residence halls, Gertrude Sellards Pearson Hall and Corbin Hall share something else in common. They’re both home to women only. But that may soon change. In an interview with the Journal-World, housing director Diana Robertson said that after GSP is renovated, it may be switched from single-sex to coed. Though it’s still too early in the process to say whether this will surely happen, Robertson said that fewer and fewer women are requesting women-only housing when they choose to live at KU.That alone is enough to spark the conversation.Robertson said she expected to seek legislative approval for renovations to GSP in the upcoming legislative session._What do you think about GSP becoming coed? Do you have fond memories of living there and can’t imagine it changing? Or will you be glad to see a change to more coed housing?
