The high school basketball season started last week, but for several Lawrence natives, their basketball season began last month when their college seasons began.


Most of these former Lawrence High, Free State and Bishop Seabury basketball players are about 10 games into their season, and here’s a look at how they’ve been playing (stats through Saturday, Dec. 5):

13 games, 5.5 points, 2.2 rebounds, 22 total assists and 20 total steals.


Makayla Bell, Neosho CC (Lawrence High):
10 games, 12.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 9 total steals.
