Topeka — Former Kansas governors John Carlin and Bill Graves have joined a non-partisan group seeking legislation to reduce the national debt.

Carlin, a Democrat, and Graves, a Republican, have become members of the Governors Fiscal Leadership Council, which includes 41 former governors.
