DREAM Act supporters to protest against Kobach

Supporters of the DREAM Act on Tuesday plan to protest outside Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach's office and call on him to resign.
Kobach, a Republican, is known as the author of several state anti-illegal immigration laws. Many have said GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney failed to get much support among Hispanics because he adhered to Kobach's position on illegal immigration.
The protest is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Memorial Hall.
The message from the protestors is "You cost your party our support. It's time to resign as Kansas Secretary of State, and to stop taking your anti-immigration messages to other states."
The DREAM Act is a proposal that would provide permanent residency status to certain undocumented residents.
Organizers of the protest said people from Kansas, Alabama, Mississippi, Arizona and Georgia are expected to participate.

my dream is to have all you illegals sent back to where you came from. It is way past time to take our country back. If you don't like what is going on, go back where you came from. no federal money help. no insurance. no free food. see how you like that.

We have an employment problem because of illegal immigration. Keep giving people money to sit on their butts, while at the same time championing the caring for illegal immigrants.
I work and work hard to support those I care for, and frankly a couple of others, who might be good people, but take money from me and mine so they can sit around all day and watch tv and talk on their Obama phones.
As far as I am concerned after they finish their next meal they can remove the spoon from the taxpayers collective arses.

I am endlessly amused by the argument that undocumented workers are both sitting on their back ends collecting welfare and taking all the American jobs. Just imagine how much they could accomplish if they weren't being lazy!
End sarcasm

I hope the next protest will be at the door of President Obama and Congress, who have failed this Nation by refusing to enact and enforce a reasonable system for immigration.

Why doesn't the greatest president of all time get involved? Bill Clinton would hammer out a splendid plan for reform.
Oletimer musts be a very miserable person. All these brown people in his country, gays getting married, christianity exposed, pot smokers, Chinese taking away 'merkin jobs, a non-white president. I assume he will refuse his medicade/care and SSI when he retires. After, it was never intended for an old people's hammock, it was intended to help those who have poor planning skills and are left with their pants down.

I have little sympathy for illegal immigrants. They broke our laws to get to this country then they complain because they don't get everything they want.
There are too many immigrant people, legal and illegal, who do not want to be Americans. They do not want to assimulate. They just want what they can get from this country.
I agree with oletimer. We are losing our country bit by bit and our governing bodies don't seem to care.

Yes. How dare all those two year olds cross the border and then complain that they have no legal path to citizenship.
