Lawrence fire crews open second-floor office and apartment doors above Sweet! Baking Supply, 717 Massachusetts, to let smoke out after responding to visible flames and heavy smoke next door at Biggs on Mass, 719 Massachusetts St., around 1 p.m. Tuesday. As of 2:30 p.m., crews reported the situation under control. A stretch of Mass Street, from Seventh to Eighth streets, was blocked off as crews fought the fire in the multi-story building.
