The Welcome Club of Lawrence presented fundraiser checks to Willow Domestic Violence Center and the Lawrence Humane Society. The club’s fundraising efforts were headed by Trudy Urbanski, not pictured. On Aug. 13, Troop 61 attended a districtwide Splash-a-ree campout. The boys learned how to sail, canoed, went fishing and swimming at Clinton Lake.
