Jeri Holwick, a senior at McLouth High School, enjoys a different kind of sport: power lifting. She can squat 325 pounds and has won the state high school 3A power lifting, and hopes to win it again this year.

Jeri Holwick, a senior at McLouth High School, can squat 325 pounds and is the 3A state champ in power lifting. She hopes to take the title again this year. She says her big legs are part of why she can lift so much, and if they're a consequence of her sport, she'll be OK with them.

Jeri is an amazing role model for young ladies, especially in a society filled with unrealistic ideals of body image. I think what's great about Jeri is she's beautiful on the outside & even more beautiful on the inside!
