With the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City, Jayhawk fans crowded into the Power & Light district for its Fan Fest. The game was broadcast on multiple TVs and many of the nearby bars opened early.

After the KU game ended, most of the K-State fans headed inside the Sprint Center to watch the Wildcats game against Colorado, while many Jayhawk fans filtered outside to enjoy the free entertainment in the Power and Light District in Kansas City.
