David Cunningham, director of legal services, human resources and policy for the Lawrence School District, lost 23 pounds through the Weight Watchers program. The program is offered for half price through the district's insurance provider. Cunningham said he decided to participate in the program because he needed to get fit. He said the discounted cost and on-site location — it was offered where he works — were additional incentives.
