Northern Illinois coach Dave Doeren offers encouragement from the sideline during a Huskies practice. Doeren served as Kansas University co-defensive coordinator in 2005 and recruited some of the most memorable names to Lawrence. NIU will visit Kansas this season for a Sept. 10 contest in Memorial Stadium.
