Should government offices be allowed to hold religious meetings, such as bible studies, for their employees?
Asked at Lawrence Public Library on September 12, 2015
“All I'll say is that I believe in the separation of church and state.”
— Chuck Sack, account executive, Lawrence
“I don't think it should be allowed. I think employees who want to have those meetings should be encouraged to do it outside of work.”
— Bailey Slater, pharmacy technician, Kansas City, Kan.
“As long as it's optional, sure.”
— Imran Currah, truck driver, Topeka
“I'm kind of neutral on that, but I do believe there should be a separation of church and state.”
— Felicia Moose, administrative assistant, Lawrence
