Neither bats nor spiders are scary. Stephen King said that the one thing he is afraid of is the creature that lives under the bed so he makes sure the covers are tucked in good and tight around his feet because he doesn't want to wake up with clawed, scaly hands caressing his feet.

I am really, really terrified of clowns. Don't even like to say the word, and I have read that a lot of people are afraid of them.

Neither. Man has irrational fears based on misconceptions such as those regurgetated above. But, here's a fact, people eat spiders every night in their sleep.

Would rather get hit by a spider than a bat. Been there...Demmit!
