Have you ever had a birthday party for a pet?

“Yes, I got my dog some bones.”
“I did celebrate my rabbit’s birthday. I gave him two carrots and maybe some extra food.”
“I have never had a pet, but I’m getting ready to adopt one.”
“Yep, we bought the dog some treats and said ‘happy birthday.’”

Have been to some full blown animal parties complete with cookouts, beer, games and 30 or 40 people in attendance. Now that's how you do a party.

I am going to throw a party for autie's dog on its next birthday. I saw a picture of it recently & it looked so lovable!

When my granddaughter was little we always had parties for the cat. We got a decorated cake from Dillions, some pop, and invited the whole block. The cat got a toy from everyone. Some were pretty darned nice. The kids all wore those little hats, and of course put one on the cat. They loved it.

This is the cat I have now, not the one from way back when. I have almost always had a cat.
