When did you last buy a Hallmark card?
Asked at Dillons, 1740 Massachusetts St. on March 12, 2013
“I’m going to be honest, it’s been some time. I usually go buy from cheaper sources. ”
“I’m sure I have but not in the last couple of years. ”
“It was for a wedding last July”
“It’s been a year or two. I usually tend to get discount. I sometimes don’t care if I send the very best.”

Why buy a paper card? Just send an email.

Because sending an email for your Mom's birthday is lame.

I bought my brother one to go with the 8-track tape for his birthday.

Greeting cards in general are one of the biggest ripoffs ever. If I ever need to send one, go to Dollar Tree and get some fairly nice cards...2 for a buck. I'd rather have the $4 instead of a birthday card.

Last time an email was too lame for the occasion.

I bought one about a month before the only Hallmark shop in Lawrence stopped carrying Hallmark products.
