Hard to pick a single favorite, but Much Ado About Nothing is one of my faves. I wonder how many of the respondents picked Romeo & Juliet because was required in HS and it's the only Shakespeare play they've ever read?

Does he play drums or is he from the horn section? Come on LJW, we need more info.

Having said that, Hamlet.

Mucha Ado or Tempest. In general I prefer Moliere.

I like the witches in Macbeth, the fairy creatures in Midsummer Night's Dream, and The Tempest, I have read that the island of Corfu in the Med is the place that Will had in mind when he wrote that play. I also like Falstaff and we had some good discussions in class as to whether he was treated fairly or not when Hal dumped him after he became king. Also, Richard 111 did not kill his three nephews, but, I guess that Will did not have the information at the time that we do now.

Love's Labour's Lost is one of William Shakespeare's early comedies, believed to have been written in the mid-1590s, and first published in 1598.
