If a restaurant gets a low score for its health inspection, do you still eat there?
Asked at Dillons, 1740 Massachusetts St. on January 13, 2013
“Yes. It’d have to be a pretty low score. If it has 20 violations, I’m probably not going to go.”
“Sure, if it’s really good.”
“Yes. I’ve probably done it before.”
“No.”

As part of her training my wife spent several months assisting a county inspector with restaurant inspections. As a result there are a number of places where we to not eat. Other than that I don't pay much attention to the actual scores.

If I like the food, I go there. That's why I never look at the inspection results. I have a very high tolerance for things that seem to bother others. The couple of times I've gotten food poisoning in my life, it was from my own cooking.
