How would you improve the Kansas education system?
Asked at Massachusetts Street on January 9, 2013
“I would focus more on individual needs as opposed to the school districts’ needs. More one-on-one help.”
“ I would not be afraid to challenge kids and not be afraid of the consequences of challenging kids. ”
“ I would study the top 10 countries in the world and employ their tactics and strategies. I would implement the top ideas agreed upon by a special blue-ribbon committee.”
“ More geography education, because Americans don’t know anything about geography.”

Get rid of 90% of the administrators and give the money directly to the teachers for use in their classrooms. Kansas classrooms would become the most dynamic learning environments in the world.
