What’s the right pay for Lawrence city commissioners (currently $9,000 per year)?

“I think $9,000 is about right.”

“$20,000 I think is about right.”

“That’s about right, $9,000.”

“They probably deserve more money than that if they’re working 20-30 hours a week. Maybe a few thousand more.”
