I think Kent misheard the question. I've actually been to Banff, and, while I was there, I was in Canada.

The Banff Mountain Film tour is sponsored by Sunflower Bikeshop and the local biking gp; it happens every year the same w/e as the Haskell Art Mkt and Fall craft fair in South Park; it is sold out every year with raucous, appreciative crowds at Liberty Hall and features the most amazing current films of outdoor sports (rock climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, skiing, base-jumping,etc.) you will EVER see. The year's selected best films films around the country to various places. The Banff Mt film group sponsors film education and competition to promote outdoor and mountain preservation and appreciation.

I obviously have to say the Kansas Music Hall of Fame inductions and concert at Liberty Hall each Spring. The next one is March 2, 1913. Voting to pick the inductees begins tomorrow.
