“ I would say North Carolina, somewhere on the coast. It’s clean and relaxing.”

“ Eugene, Ore. It’s like Lawrence but add in mountains and the ocean and things to do.”

“ Lake Geneva, Mich. It’s one of the happiest, most comfortable places that I have seen in my life.”

“ Alaska. It’s far away from everything and totally different from here.”

Poitiers, France; first, San Juan, Puerto Rico, second; or Seattle, WA, 3rd. But I'll probably end up here.

Oh well ...

I'm a fifth generation Kansan, I've lived in Lawrence for 30 years, my house is paid off, hate the winters, but I'm here until the end. Never will be able to retire but this is home.

My granddaughter says I have to come with her when she goes to college. I will be retirement age by then......I think she just wants me to cook and wash clothes. Sadly, I will probably have to stay right where I am.....

If money were no object, I would be living somewhere along the intercostal near Fort Lauderdale with a vacation shack in Key West that I could take my yacht to.

But, back in the real world, right here in Larryville ain't so bad.

"I think I'll buy one of the old missile silos out in the middle of no where and make a bunker out of it and hunker down." CW

That is how RI lives now.

I can't think about this now, knowing that poor Kate got her photo taken without her shirt on

Realistically? Coeur d'Alene, Idaho or Colorado Springs, Colorado.

I prefer a saucy wet rub.

I like it here for all but winter. I'm angling for a little joint to Spend Dec. - Feb. in Apalachicola, FL. Leave after deer season, come home when the spring breakers show up.

I like it fine right here in Larrytown, thank you, but North Shore on Oahu is sounding better by the minute! Can you smoke a decent brisket, babs? Or is that too much tassle? er...I mean hassle.

I agree with Nicole Reiz. Definitely Eugene, OR.

North Shore. Ohau. I would open up KC BBQ joint ......

Or, maybe a strip bar.

Kind of undecided on that part.

Maybe both....

Since I'll probably never get to retire, no sense in thinking about it.
