I'm hopin' a noob can take down some of the big money winners & outlast the likes of Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi & Phil Ivey or even 'Hash' Hachem. First, you hafta win your way to the big table & that's not easy...

"I've watched maybe three minutes of baseball this year. And none of the World Series. Not my sport."
Great minds think alike. Don't even getting me started on baseball. I've only noticed there's some funny little guy with a Muslim beard that everyone seems to think is really cute. Whatever. I would pull for Detroit simply because the city is an urban wasteland and they need something good. As much as I like the city of SF, those wine and cheese jerkoffs are almost as full of themselves as NYC and Lawrence.

My favorite area in SF is North Beach. Start off with brunch at the Condor, a sports bar where some famous stripper named Carol Doda danced. If you're a hippie you can cross the street to City Lights bookstore where awful beat writers used to hang out. If you're me, go the other way and hit some porn shops and strip joints. Some of those porn shops have booths where a little window opens and a live naked chick is there to entertain you. I like the Tenderloin District, too. Crackheads, Mitchell Bros. Theater, and lots of massage parlors. I once relieved myself at a massage parlor there at 10am. Coolest thing is the cops know exactly what's going on. They just don't care as long as you're not bothering anybody.

You go to SF just to get drunk and play with yourself? Stay home. It's cheaper and there are more than enough jerks in North Beach without you.

No. Baseball is one of the most boring sports to watch. Fun to play but so painfully boring to watch.
