What do you mean by "cups?" Measured cups or a regular coffee cup/mugs which is two measured cups. I drink four mugs or eight cups

Rob has never heard of an iced coffee... has he been living in a cave for the last 10 years?,

"i don't like hot drinks" is code for: "i'm mormon"

Well, maybe he is like me in that he does not like iced coffee... I like my coffee black - no cream, no sugar, no nothing. Just good hot, black coffee.

"I don’t like hot drinks."

Not "I don't like coffee"

Perhaps I should have been more clear. I was referring to the notion that he had not heard of iced coffee. The way I read it was that he did not like hot drinks, and he did not like coffee of any variety.

More like 20 years. I first tried iced coffee in '92, I think, at Java Gaia on Southwest Blvd. in KC.

Not so much anymore. 2 to 4 cups per month.

I drink about 12 cups per day and I sleep like a baby

Me too. Sleep 2 hours, wake up and cry, sleep 2 hours, wake up and . . .

Wow LJW . . . I would think a Senate rejection of the presidents budget by a 99-0 vote might be newsworthy.

0

It wasn't the presidents budget... it was a Republican budget.

That was using the Mope's numbers... (from a source)

A caricature of the President's numbers.

That torques my shorts also. A cup should be a cup whether it is coffee or tequila or canola oil. 6 oz. is not a cup! It is just like when the spousal unit's car speedometer goes to 160 mph, but the damn thing wont go faster than 110 unless you flash the ECU, then it tops out at 134 mph. Why do they put a speedometer in that goes to 160 mph? Why do they call a coffee maker a 12 cup coffee maker if it only makes 7?

I drink about 4 liters of brewed coffee a day.

"6 oz. is not a cup! " That's right, a cup measures 8 ounces.

Makes for a longer life, eh? I should be good to go for a bazillion years or so. Sure hope we find that next perfect planet before the sun burns out.

The sun should still be here for another 4 billion years, about the time the Andromeda galaxy and the Milky Way are expected to collide. The sun will however begin heating up (already has) as it dies and the earth will become too hot to support life in 500 million years or less. It is estimated that 12 to 60 life ending events could occur on earth long before the sun burns out.

(Brought to you by RoeDy's House of Pain and Paranoia. Tinfoil hats still $6.95 and can hold 128oz of your favorite hot beverage)

Not certain if the study factored in urination. Frequent urination might actually be why coffee appears to help with living longer.

I would like to drink your coffee every morning..and I don't think your cups are too small either!

Hard to say, but by the way they measure it, 20+ cups a day. Z-I-N-G-!

I cannot stand the smell, let alone the taste of coffee. It is disgusting.

FYI, I do all my internet activity from 6 feet under, so I suppose their findings must be true. It is really DARK down here. I'd go crazy if it wasn't for the internet. I've already clawed so long that my fingernails are scraped to the bone. Thank goodness the inside of the lid is satin and not slate.

I drink it all day long at work. Not so much at home on the weekends because I make it very strong thus only needing a cup or two. Straight black, no cream or sugar.

Happy Birthday Andini!

I don't think it counts as contributing to a long life if you drink it for hangovers.

0

snap_pop_no_crackle 1 year ago

To actually address the question, unless it's danged cold, I drink only two cups of coffee a day. And I put shoes on it.

The colon has the refreshing and amazing ability to absorb caffeine.

Depends, where I am currently posted, in the summer, I don't drink that much coffee because it is light at 5:00 AM, but in the winter, it gets -20F and is dark until 10:00AM so I pour in down.
