The levee, but they never warn people in advance when they are spraying chemicals.

I like the MacLennan Park Trails, AKA "the Governor's Mansion Trails in Topeka. I always wear full camo when I run around the mansion....just makes it more fun.

So I'm out joggin' with the dog near the Lawrence Arboretum. I take her because she likes to stop & sniff a lot, thus saving me from the agony of an actual workout. We were out doin' our thing on the way to Clinton Lake when ZOOM! Mr. Bicycle Boy goes zippin' past us so closely that you'd have thought we were dating. I'd been singing to myself, too, and was about to bust a move. He would've creamed me.The pedal pusher at least had a helmet. My advice is: 1) Don't assume the old fart is not a goofy bastid with mad skilz b) If I can feel more than a faint breeze when you pass unannounced, epithets may follow.

I love the McGrew nature trail off of Inverness Drive. It's not very long, but it's absolutely beautiful!
