There is a very old joke in my family from my great grandfather Oscar Scrivner that dates to about 1900 or so. He was asked this question many times, and I do clearly remember hearing him asked it, even though I was very young:
"Grandpa, what are your favorite kinds of pie?"
"Hot and cold!"

That Strawberry Rhubarb pie you get from the farmers market with vanilla ice cream on it, even though it's already delicious on its own :) and pizza pie of course

Strawberry Rhubarb is my favourite. The sweet sour appeals to me. Also like Humble Pie at times.

Years ago Charles Snow grew rhubarb and strawberries in North Lawrence. My parents would buy from him and make pies but none of my brothers or sisters would eat it. More for me.
Ron Holzwarth 1 year, 2 months ago
And for other people, they recommend Maalox. Because of eating too much pie, you know.

I am putting a cherry pie and rhubarb pie in the oven. I like a straight rhubarb pie the most. rhubarb, 1 cup sugar, 1/4 c granulated tapioca, 1 egg yolk, 1/4 t almond extract. 1/4 t nutmeg. = happy friends.
