I am putting a cherry pie and rhubarb pie in the oven. I like a straight rhubarb pie the most. rhubarb, 1 cup sugar, 1/4 c granulated tapioca, 1 egg yolk, 1/4 t almond extract. 1/4 t nutmeg. = happy friends.

Strawberry rhubarb, hands down. Just waiting for locally grown rhubarb at the Lawrence farmers markets.

Yes, there are miracles and help and hope for some in need. A closed mind is simply a wasted mind. It's always polite to try a slice of every kind of pie.

For certain people, doctors may recommend abilify.

Jesus has always walked among us. Have you never seen Man From Earth?

Years ago Charles Snow grew rhubarb and strawberries in North Lawrence. My parents would buy from him and make pies but none of my brothers or sisters would eat it. More for me.

Any pie that Mary Jane makes is just fine.

Key Lime Pie is best on Duvall Street and I don't think Jesus was in Key West unless you are possibly Mormon? Anyway, I'd rather have a Conch Fritter if I'm in Key West.

The key lime was totally unknown to the middle eastern world at the time of the alleged Nazarene teacher. It is strictly a New World sub species. So the previous statement in this regard is patently false. I guess it goes along with the rock of ages.

I'm kind of feeling like a bullet in the gun of Robert Ford.

Is it time for this ? again. Last time I'm pretty sure Ronaldo said Harr. I'll say moon pies and parkin' on the ridge. That came from some personal ad I saw in a dirty magazine in the late '70's. I do not want to know what a moon pie or the ridge is, but I bet Autie knows.

Strawberry Rhubarb is my favourite. The sweet sour appeals to me. Also like Humble Pie at times.

The pie from Revenge of the Nerds! http://www.catsafterme.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/nerds5.jpg

I do not like the pie from American Pie though

Pizza, onion, black olive and mushroom, extra cheese.

I'm more of a cake girl.

Though I probably wouldn't turn down a nice tart cherry that is still warm with a good sugary crust.

Elderberry, followed closely by pecan.

That Strawberry Rhubarb pie you get from the farmers market with vanilla ice cream on it, even though it's already delicious on its own :) and pizza pie of course

There is a very old joke in my family from my great grandfather Oscar Scrivner that dates to about 1900 or so. He was asked this question many times, and I do clearly remember hearing him asked it, even though I was very young:

"Grandpa, what are your favorite kinds of pie?"

"Hot and cold!"

I don't think there is a pie I don't like!
